Terms of Service

Rules for studio catalog usage, booking requests, cancellations, on-site conduct, and liabilities.

By using this site or requesting a booking, you agree to these terms. A booking is considered a request until confirmed in writing. You are responsible for your crew, guests, and vendors, and for any loss or damage caused during your session. Please respect building rules, time slots, and noise limits. Cancellations and overtime are governed by the policies below.

  • Overtime must be approved and is billed in increments.

Booking requests & confirmation

Submitting a request does not guarantee availability. We may require additional details (crew size, equipment, special effects) before confirming. The final confirmed start and end times govern access to the studio, including setup and breakdown.

  • Arrivals earlier than the confirmed start time may be denied entry if it disrupts other bookings.
  • Any add-ons (grip, backdrops, assistants) must be confirmed in writing.
  • We may refuse or cancel requests that pose safety, legal, or building compliance risks.

Payments, deposits, and invoices

Payment terms are specified at confirmation. Deposits may be required to secure a slot and can be non-refundable depending on lead time and preparation. Invoices may include add-ons, overtime, damage, cleaning, or external vendor fees incurred due to your use.

  • Chargebacks or reversals without prior written dispute may lead to suspension of future bookings.
  • Late payments can result in cancellation or denial of access until settled.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

Cancellations and rescheduling must be requested in writing. We will confirm receipt and applicable charges based on the time remaining until the confirmed start time.

72+ hours
Free cancellation. Deposits may be credited or refunded depending on payment terms.
Within 72 hours
Up to 50% of the booking subtotal may be charged due to lost availability.
Within 24 hours / No-show
Up to 100% may be charged. No-shows are treated as late cancellations.

Overtime policy

Overtime must be approved and is subject to availability. If the studio is needed for another booking, overtime may not be possible. Approved overtime is billed in 30-minute increments, rounded up to the next increment.

  • Setup and breakdown are included in your booked time.
  • Exiting late may incur additional fees, including building staff or security time.

Conduct, safety, and prohibited activities

You must comply with studio and building rules at all times. Unsafe or illegal activities are not allowed. We reserve the right to end a session immediately if rules are broken, with applicable charges remaining due.

  • No haze, smoke, fog, paint, glitter, confetti, open flames, or pyrotechnics without written consent.
  • Do not block exits, hallways, or common areas; keep fire lanes clear.
  • Minimize noise and vibrations; respect neighbors and quiet hours.
  • Food and drinks are allowed only in approved areas; dispose of waste responsibly.

Damage, loss, and liability

You are responsible for any damage to the studio, building, equipment, furniture, or props caused by you or anyone in your party. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Use of equipment is at your own risk unless otherwise required by law.

  • Report damage immediately. Failure to report may increase costs due to delayed repairs.
  • We may require proof of insurance for certain productions or crew sizes.
  • Indemnification: you agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use, to the extent permitted by law.

Disputes and contact

If you believe there is an error in billing, overtime, or damage assessment, contact us within 7 calendar days of the invoice date with relevant details and supporting materials. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
